1800-1950. The Website also lists every Canadian building
of importance built in Canada during these years whose architect
can be identified.

• Cinema Treasures

Cinema
Treasures was launched in 2000 by filmmaker and technologist
Patrick Crowley, and film historian Ross Melnick. The site
is dedicated to the preservation of movie houses worldwide
and currently [2010] contains details of nearly 28,6000
cinemas, (e.g. 22,197 in the USA, 3,108 in the UK, 803 in
Canada, etc.), with nearly 1,600 photographs. The site can
be searched by architect, chain, firm, and location. Whilst
the site does not contain biographical information on the
architects it is useful for tracing buildings they designed.
